Corporate Event DJ in Providence and Boston: What to Expect and How to Choose
A corporate event needs a different kind of DJ than a wedding. The music has to fit a work crowd, speeches and awards have to sound clear, and the night has to stay on schedule. Here's what a good corporate event DJ and MC handles, and how to choose one in Rhode Island or Massachusetts.

- A wireless microphone for welcome remarks, speeches, awards and raffles, with me handling the introductions if you'd like an MC.
- Clean, crowd-appropriate music, and a real dance floor when it's time, with dance-floor lighting.
- Coordination with your venue or event planner, plus a certificate of insurance when the venue requires one.
Pricing
My event packages start at $595 for 4 hours of DJ service with dance-floor lighting, $895 adds cocktail-hour music, and $1,195 covers 5 hours. Additional hours are $150. A $250 deposit reserves the date. Details are on my event packages page.
Tips for a better company party
- Book early for December. Holiday party dates go fast, and weeknights are a great option.
- Send the run of show ahead of time: who speaks, in what order, and when awards happen.
- Tell your DJ the crowd's age range and any must-avoid songs or genres.
- Plan the dance floor after dinner and speeches, when people are ready to loosen up.
